BITCH CRAFT *Psychedelic all-nighter #2*

๐Ÿ„ Remember last September when we transformed Sticky Mike's Frog Bar into a magical wonderland of visuals & decorations.
Well last time was so magical, we've decided to do it all again ๐Ÿ„

BITCH CRAFT & Pepsi Max host the 2nd installment of their extended hours psych all-night festival featuring a plethora of the most astounding contemporary psychedelic rock bands, where females prevail in the lineup.

Sticky Mike's are giving us the reins to take over both the ground floor bar and basement room for the whole night.
We'll be filling the whole venue with kaleidoscopic visuals, and decorating the shit out of it to tickle all those senses and trancend your body, mind and soul into the psychedelic realm.

Much in the manner a devotional feline will proudly massacre vermin, leaving it's sacrificial remains to fetter your hallway carpet, we bring you Madonnatron. In the space of about 18 months they went from not knowing how to play their instruments to knowing how to play them slightly better (in between doing full time jobs and having babies) and during this time ended up supporting The Moonlandingz on their Autumn 2016 tour, touring with Trashmouth Records and label mates Meatraffle across the UK at the end of 2016, and doing two live sessions for Marc Riley on BBC6. They also played two sold out shows during Independent Venue Week this January - one at the Windmill, Brixton, and the other with The Moonlandingz at Hebden Bridge Trades Club.

"If Madonnatron was an amplifier, it would be a mutha of a Krell beater, a class A with plenty of power in reserve. Better than Led Zeppelin " - Zsa Zsa Sapien of Meatraffle

"We are not going to make you a sandwich, motherfuckers" - Madonnatron

London based TEAR released their debut EP on Tim Burgess' O Genesis label late 2015 and have followed it up with a string of intimate shows and festival performances with their first vinyl release scheduled for autumn this year.
Their shows feel stripped back and raw, simmering with the kind of female rage that threatens to boil over at any minute. At times chaotic, live they push themselves to the furthest limits before pulling themselves back from the brink just in time.

ZRN is the new project from Ess Beck & Christian Sinding Soendergaard (Tales of Murder and Dust). Aarhus-based duo who play experimental noise-rock with elements of Ambient Doom.
Equipped with two guitars, a vast array of effect pedals, drum machines and synth modules, the pair has shaped a signature sound that invites their audience for an intense sway between sheer noise and beautiful, droned-out smouldering soundscapes.
The duo's live performances sees them weave together solid tracks and improvisational elements, resulting in a mesmerising journey that guarantees a punch in the gut and gentle sonic comfort.

Since their formation in 2013, ZRN has explored the female experience from with-in both a sensuous and activistic framework, drawing their musical influences from the likes of Sonic Youth, Lydia Lunch, Swans and Yo La Tengo.
On their latest offering, โ€œSwim EPโ€ (April 2017), the pair - who met as members of long standing Danish Psych act Tales of Murder and Dust - has brought ZRN forward as a creative force field in itโ€™s own right, and are now making waves in the European noise underground.

Graceland are four sisters from the East. Confident wielders who make thoughtful and angry pop music that is heavy with riffs but punchy and danceable.
Live, they are an impressive force, with a gang-like mentality which leaves no one on the fence. Of course, they love the pop hooks of Fleetwood Mac and Paul Simon that they brazenly reference, but the intricacies are fun to unravel too; Savages, The Birthday Party, PJ Harvey, The Breeders...

Table Scraps
